Shoreline Protection Awareness - Slope Failure

Many neighbourhoods in the Town of Quispamsis are built along the Kennebecasis and Hammond Rivers. As is typical of many rivers they experience yearly freshets in the spring as well as regular fluctuations due to rainfall. These freshets and weather events cause elevated water levels that can affect waterfront properties. One of the concerns with waterfront property, or any land close to a body of water, is the potential for a slope failure.
