Another detour change on Gondola Point Road

A detour in place on Gondola Point Road will be changing its route this weekend.

Beginning Saturday, September 20, Gondola Point Road will be closed to thru traffic between Saunders Drive and Lionel Drive. Saunders Drive will also be closed to thru traffic at Gondola Point Road.

To access Gondola Point Road, motorists can detour in both directions using Stoneyplain Avenue, Northwood Street, Saunders Drive, Bonanza Drive, Fireweed Drive and Lionel Drive. Note: Detour details may change again during this project. Public notice will be given when any changes are identified.

The detour is in place due to the installation of a forcemain pipe on Gondola Point Road. The work is expected to continue into November 2025.

Please respect all detours, barricades, signage and any other traffic control measures that may be in place.
