Cedar Ridge Boulevard watermain installation to begin next week

Quispamsis, through its contractor, is expected to begin the installation of a new watermain on Cedar Ridge Boulevard during the week of September 22. The work is scheduled to begin at Ridge Manor Drive.

There will be increased truck traffic during construction and delays are possible. One alternating lane of traffic is expected to remain open, controlled by traffic lights. The locations of the traffic lights are likely to change as the work continues. Please follow the posted signage and pass carefully around the construction area. 

This watermain will connect to the existing watermain at the intersection of Ridge Manor Drive and finish at Lindwood Court. It will offer residents in the construction zone the option of connecting to the municipal water system.

Future phases will connect to a watermain on Hampton Road to provide system redundancy and improve the servicing for future development, and fire flow water. 

Construction is expected to continue into the final week of November, weather permitting.
