Forcemain installation to create detours on Gondola Point Road

Quispamsis, through its contractors, will begin installing a forcemain pipe and accompanying infrastructure on Gondola Point Road next week.

The work will start at 565 Gondola Point Road, in the area of Wastewater Lift Station #4, and extend to 609 Gondola Point Road. It is expected to take approximately ten weeks.

The installation is necessary in conjunction with ongoing upgrades to the lift station.

Beginning Monday, September 8, Gondola Point Road will be closed to thru traffic between Sherwood Drive and Saunders Drive. Motorists can detour in both directions using Nottingham Drive, Stoneyplain Avenue and Northwood Street. Note: Detour details are expected to change during this project. Public notice will be given when those changes are identified.

Please respect all detours, barricades, signage and any other traffic control measures that may be in place.
