Hammond River Park, Millennium Cycle Bike Park to reopen Aug. 26; fire ban remains in place

Hammond River Park and Millennium Cycle Bike Park will reopen to the public today – Tuesday, August 26.

This means all parks and trails in Quispamsis will be open.

A fire ban remains in place. Barbeque pits have been removed from Meenan’s Cove Park and barbequing is prohibited in town parks and public spaces.

The province of New Brunswick announced Monday it is lifting many of its restrictions on Crown land. Follow the New Brunswick government’s Fire Watch for the latest provincial information.
