Lift Station #4 upgrades to impact traffic on Gondola Point Road

Major upgrades are set to begin this week at Lift Station #4 located at 565 Gondola Point Road.

The work is necessary to ensure the lift station is ready for future volume, weather and environmental conditions.

Some preliminary work will begin at the site today.

Beginning Friday, August 8, vehicle traffic will be reduced to one alternating lane, controlled by a stoplight. Motorists should expect delays and consider alternate routes where possible.

Access to the beach in the area will be restricted as it is considered to be an active construction zone until the fall of 2025.

Residents with chairs or other items on the beach as part of beach access are asked to remove them from the area during the construction period to prevent the risk of damage.

Beach access will be restored at the conclusion of the project.
