Millennium Drive upgrades to begin August 4

Quispamsis will be completing street infrastructure upgrades on Millennium Drive between Shannex Drive and 60 Millennium Drive starting on Tuesday, August 4.

The project will build off work that began in 2025, including the continuation of a new multi-use trail, storm sewer upgrades, new curb and gutter along the west side of the street, and asphalt pulverizing and paving.

Asphalt milling and paving are also anticipated on Market Street.

Construction is expected to begin near Shannex Drive. As work commences, vehicle traffic will be reduced to one alternating lane daily between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. with flag persons on site to manage traffic. Construction traffic patterns may change during the work period. Please respect all flag persons, signs, signals, barricades and other traffic control that may be in place for your safety.

Delays are likely. Consider using alternate routes where possible. Access to all businesses in the area will remain open.
