Public Notice: Proposed Amendment to Municipal Plan By-Law No. 054 and Zoning By-Law No. 038 - 213 Hampton Road
Public Notice is hereby given that the Quispamsis Town Council has been requested to and intends to consider amending “By-law No. 054, A By-law of the Municipality of Quispamsis Respecting the Quispamsis Municipal Plan”, and “By-law No. 038, A By-law of the Municipality of Quispamsis Respecting Zoning”. The proposed By-law Amendments, pursuant to the applicable Sections of the Community Planning Act of New Brunswick, are required to redesignate the following property from Central Commercial (CC) to Integrated Development (ID) subject to the applicant entering into a Section 59 Community Planning Act agreement with the Town outlining the conditions of the change in land use:
213 Hampton Road (PIDs 00249854 and 3010276) being parcels of land having a combined total overall land area of 11,770 square metres as illustrated in Schedule A - Preliminary Concept.
REASON FOR CHANGE: To accommodate three (3) new building: two (2) six (6) storey mixed-use buildings containing a total of 100 dwelling units and providing approximately 1698 square metres of commercial space and one (1) five (5) storey residential building with a total of 50 dwelling units.
ENGAGEMENT: A Public Presentation of the proposed amendments took place on November 18, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Quispamsis Town Hall, 12 Landing Court, Quispamsis, New Brunswick.

The 30-day Public Comment period is now open. Written comments on the proposed amendment may be made to the Council, in care of the undersigned, up to and including December 18, 2025, at which time the Public Comment period for the proposed Municipal Plan amendment will close.
The proposed by-law amendments may be reviewed in the Clerk’s office, Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding civic holidays.
