Public Notice: Proposed Amendment to Section 59 Community Planning Act Agreement

Public Notice is hereby given that the Quispamsis Town Council has been requested to and intends to consider amending the Section 59 Community Planning Act development agreement (link includes images) between the town of Quispamsis and Ascension Elevating Devices Ltd., dated July 27, 2016 registered in the Kings County Registry Office on August 23, 2016 as Number 36252584, and the amendment between the town of Quispamsis and Ascension Elevating Devices Ltd.., dated February 11, 2025 registered in the Kings County Registry Office on April 12, 2022 as Number 42512112 regarding the following property:

 

A parcel of land identified as PID No. 00250787 and 30220644 with Civic No.355 Hampton Road as shown on the attached Ortho Plan and consisting of a main building and accessory Quonset hut.

REASON FOR CHANGE: The request is to remove the language from the Development Agreement that requires the removal of all accessory buildings from the lands. This is to facilitate the sale of the subject Lands.

ENGAGEMENT: The Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) will consider this application at the November 25, 2025, PAC Meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the council chambers of the Quispamsis Town Hall, 12 Landing Court, Quispamsis, New Brunswick. A Public Hearing of the proposed amendment will be held December 2, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the council chambers of the Quispamsis Town Hall, 12 Landing Court, Quispamsis, New Brunswick, where Council will hear and consider any objections to the proposed amendment. Residents can attend the meeting in person or access the Council meeting livestream.

Written comments may be made to the Council in care of the undersigned and submitted no later than November 27, 2025, by 1:00 p.m. 

The proposed application may be reviewed in the Clerk’s office, Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., exclusive of civic holidays.
