Quispamsis and Rothesay launch KV Go transit demonstration project; buses on road Aug. 11

The municipalities of Quispamsis and Rothesay are proud partners in KV Go, a demonstration project that will test a new transit solution for the Kennebecasis Valley.

Beginning Monday, August 11, KV Go will provide free, accessible, daytime bus transportation to a limited number of key locations throughout the communities for a few months this summer and into the fall. It will function as a "stop-to-stop" transit service on two (2) fixed routes during weekdays and one (1) fixed route on weekends.

The goal is to provide the framework for a long-term transit option for the Kennebecasis Valley, which would improve access for individuals and families in Quispamsis and Rothesay to run errands to grocery stores, banks, medical appointments, visit municipal parks and facilities, and other important services.

All KV Go information will be posted at kvgo.org, including schedules, stops, timing, maps and more. Some details will be added prior to and following the launch of the project. All information is subject to change.

We will be collecting rider feedback during the project through an online survey. Paper copies will also be available at Quispamsis Town Hall and Rothesay Town Hall.

Oldies 96 is the Official Media Partner of the KV Go Demonstration Project.
