Quispamsis approves 2026 budget, maintains tax rate of $1.2599

Quispamsis Town Council approved the town’s 2026 General Operating Fund Budget at the Regular Council Meeting on Tuesday, November 18.

The total operating budget will be $38,687,827. The property tax rate will be unchanged from the previous year at $1.2599 (per $100 of assessment). The non-residential property tax rate will also hold steady at $2.1418.

A 2026 General Capital Fund Budget of $20,415,900 was also approved.

This budget ensures that roads and streets remain priority items, with more than $12 million allocated for road and street infrastructure.

Council also approved investments in services and amenities that our residents expect and deserve.
