Quispamsis seeking new member for Kennebecasis Public Library Board

Quispamsis is seeking an interested community member to serve on the Kennebecasis Public Library Board.  The Board is responsible for oversight of the financial management of the library, including its assets, contracts, groundskeeping, fundraising and advocacy.

Meetings are held nine months a year (no meetings in July, August or December). They take place on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m., in person, at the Kennebecasis Public Library, and are typically 30-60 minutes in length.

Preferred candidate may have experience in one or more of the following areas: library services, governance, community engagement, fundraising, or volunteer leadership.

The successful applicant would begin a three-year term in February 2026.

All applications are reviewed by the Nominating Committee and recommendations are forwarded to council for approval.

The deadline for applications is Friday, December 5, at 5 p.m.
