Quispamsis to receive nearly $1.4 million for local infrastructure projects

Quispamsis will receive nearly $1.4 million this year through the Canada Community Business Fund (CCBF) to assist with local infrastructure projects.

The funding was confirmed at an announcement at Quispamsis Town Hall Friday involving the federal, provincial and municipal governments.

The money is part of more than $50 million in CCBF funding to be distributed to communities throughout New Brunswick.

The Quispamsis portion is expected to help cover the costs of street upgrades, the Cedar Ridge Boulevard watermain installation, and upgrades to Sanitary Lift Station #4 on Gondola Point Road.
