Current Work

Meenan’s Cove Road - Phase 3 (between civic address 143 and Rockefeller Drive) – Finish excavating roadway; preparation for paving.

Collingwood Drive (between Meenan's Cove Road and McKay Boulevard) - This portion of Collingwood Drive will be closed to through traffic until at least Tuesday, July 22, while work continues on Meenan's Cove Road in that area. Please follow detour signage.

Ambassador Drive – Shouldering and landscaping.

Olympic Court – Shouldering and landscaping.

Captain Court – Shouldering and landscaping.

Aurora Boulevard – New curb installation and preparation for paving. This road is closed to thru traffic.

Elliott Road (at intersection with Palmer Brook Road) – Sewer installation. Traffic control will be in place. Expect delays and consider alternate routes where possible.

Detours

While it is anticipated the duration of construction on each street will be limited, motorists are advised to expect traffic delays during the construction period. The town will make every effort to always maintain one lane open or ensure flag persons and/or other forms of traffic control will be on site to direct traffic through the construction area.

Notes

The 2025 Street Capital Upgrades program is expected to operate into September. The work is being performed by Debly Enterprises Ltd. and subcontractors. A full list of streets identified for upgrades is available here.

The work performed, timelines and streets affected are all subject to change. The public will be notified of any major changes.
