Water wells susceptible to contamination in summer

As our region emerges from another heat wave, we want to remind you that water wells are more susceptible to contamination during summer months.

This is due primarily to rising temperatures which can lead to increased levels of harmful bacteria in ground water.

Homeowners in Quispamsis are responsible for the safety of their well water.
