If you have an addition or renovation planned for your property that does not meet the requirements of the Town of Quispamsis Zoning By-Law, you may apply to the Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) for a variance.
Apply for a variance
- Fill out the Variance Application Form and pay the processing fee at least two weeks prior to a PAC meeting.
- You will then be scheduled to appear at the next PAC meeting, where the committee will consider your application.
- We will notify neighbouring property owners of any approved variances. The notifications become a document of public record.
It is common for committee members to visit the site of the proposed variance(s) and speak with neighbouring property owners during the decision-making process.
Apply for property rezoning
If you have ideas for your property that do not conform to its current zoning designation, you can apply to Quispamsis Town Council for rezoning.
