Councillor Mike Biggar

First elected in 2021, Councillor Mike Biggar is currently serving in his second term.

Outside his councillor role, Biggar is perhaps known best in the community for his career as a multi award-winning singer-songwriter.

As a councillor, Biggar draws on his eclectic background, artistic passion, and zeal for local community to help strengthen the progressive council team in efforts to support and grow Quispamsis.

Key areas of personal passion include transportation, housing, infrastructure, equity, inclusion, diversity, and arts and culture.

Biggar currently serves on the Kennebecasis Regional Police Board of Commissioners, the Quispamsis Housing Committee, and he is the chair of the Quispamsis Transportation Committee.

He also serves as the vice-chair of the Fundy Regional Service Commission's Transportation Committee on behalf of Quispamsis, and he has previously served on the Kennebecasis Valley Joint Board of Fire Commissioners.
